SIENA COLLEGE CELEBRATES ST CATHERINE’S DAY

Sr Julianna Drobik OP, DEA Trustee and members of the Congregation of Dominican Sisters of Eastern Australia and the Solomon Islands joined students and staff for the feast of St Catherine of Siena (29 April), Patroness of the College. The Fr Paul Rankin OP was the celebrant for the celebration of the Eucharist at St Dominic’s Parish Church.

It was a very joy filled celebration in the College’s 85th year. Guests joined the staff for morning tea afterwards. Students traditionally fund raise on this day to support the work of the Dominican sisters in the Solomon Islands.
