
THE CATHERINE CENTRE – NEW HIGH SCHOOL BUILDING OPENED AT ST LUCY’S SCHOOL
St Lucy’s School, a K – 12 Catholic school in Wahroonga NSW, and ministry of Dominican Education Australia, officially opened The Catherine Centre, a new building with dynamic and flexible learning spaces for the High School students on 19 May. The refurbished and newly named Veritas Centre which includes a Library, Fitness Gym and a Future Ready Centre was also opened.
Fr David Ranson (Vicar General, Broken Bay Diocese) officiated at the ceremony attended by DEA Board Chair, Mr Tony O’Byrne, Trustee, Sr Julianna Drobik OP and Director of Mission and Formation, Jenni Hickson. Dominican sisters, official guests and St Lucy’s parents and community were in attendance.
St Lucy’s School Board Chair, Mrs Mary L’Estrange, and St Lucy’s Principal Mr David Raphael, thanked the donors and NSW Government for their generous support and all those who contributed to the purpose-built facilities.
